Products received in country prior to 何月何日 will be grandfathered in and do not have to be 何らかの新法令の名前 compliant.
grandfather = 新法令の適用を除外する
ていう意味だそうな。常識？わたし受験勉強しなかったからなー。
でもなんでかなー。
grandfather = おじいちゃん = 祖父 = 原型とか元祖 = 元祖の条例を適用する = 新法令の適用を除外 、ってかんじかな。でも形容詞のGrandfathering とか、変な響き。
